Here's another original Cigar Box Guitar design by Ben "Gitty" Baker. This distinctive design has a vintage flair , and features the date of the first known depiction of an instrument made from a cigar box. This depiction is from a sketch by Edwin Forbes, made in the Union army camp at the Siege of Charleston in 1863 during the American Civil War. The cigar box guitar graphic is a rendition of the first CBG Shane Speal at the beginning of the instrument's modern revival. This shirt is made of a thicker, heavier cotton, but it's still soft and comfy. And the double stitching on the neckline and sleeves add more durability to what is sure to be a favorite!
